My will power is astounding. Really, how do I survive with such strong will power?
The cable salesman that deals with our complex called to tell us that they just released a new sale. Cable and internet for $60 a month. I am ashamed to say I jumped all over that. Not only that, we added phone for another $40. Oy. The willpower is so strong.
First, I know I suck. Let's move on.
Second, I know that Vonage is cheaper. I refuse to deal with Vonage because they treat their customers horribly, and I refuse to give my money to companies who treat me poorly. Even if the alternative costs more.
Third, I am still looking to the day that we can cut the cable for good. I just know how lonely it can be to live in a place where you don't know a soul. For now, cable is for us.

Hey Krista, it's Susan from Meridian (PEAK). I just wanted to tell you that you might want to call the cable company and double checking that they have phone service in our area. I signed up for a package that included phone a few months ago only to find out that it's not available here yet. Also, if they promised you any "On Demand" programing - again, nope. Not available here yet. They are bad about selling services they don't have.
Thanks Susan. I will give them a call.
When I called them the first time they couldn't even find the address in the system. I had to call back and explain that I knew I could get service (I had already talked to the sales guy) so they dug around a bit and found it. Sheesh!
